I installed TeamViewer 11 through RDP on a server but could not get it working without having the RDP session active.

These are the steps to solve it:
- Toggle services.msc > Teamviewer > Log On > "Allow service to interact with desktop".
Use the Server ID and NOT the User ID when connecting. The Server ID can be found
by clicking on the blue exclamation mark right next to the User ID on the main panel.
